A device can jam the GPS signal over Sofia. And it was found, not somewhere in the forest, but in a guarded complex in "Dragalevtsi". In a jeep. The services found it. They neutralized it. The investigation continues. But the story gets even more interesting - according to unconfirmed information - secret corridors and a tunnel have been discovered behind the walls of the complex.
"The interesting case is not the jamming of GPS devices. Car thieves have been doing this for at least 15 years. The war in Ukraine changed the situation and the topic of GPS jamming. In Bulgaria last year, this was commented on during the visit of Ursula von der Leyen. There were very few technical details in Friday's news," said Tihomir Bezlov from the Center for the Study of Democracy in "Denyat ON AIR".

"I don't think we're talking about an anti-drone system. It's about a GPS jammer. "At some point before the war in Ukraine, there were such drone jammers, but they were aimed at consumer drones and were used by companies. Such a system cannot jam a drone pilot," the expert commented.
