The Ministry of Interior issued a position regarding the order for the appointment of Gergana Bojanov, wife of Martin Bojanov – The notary, in GDBOP.
"In connection with the unrelenting attempts to falsely suggest and slander the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding allegations of deliberate evasion of the answer as to whether Martin Bojanov was an unhappy employee of the Ministry of the Interior, the categorical opinion is formulated in Appendix No. 1 item II . 3 and 5 to Art. 25 of the Law on the Protection of Classified Information.
Whether a person IS OR NOT a voluntary collaborator of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs constitutes a STATE SECRET within the meaning of the Law, the disclosure of which is punishable within the meaning of Article 357, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code. At the same time, there is no legal possibility for protection from criminal prosecution of a person who has accepted voluntary cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In response to the often raised criticism of who and when appointed Bojanov's wife to the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we attach a copy of the order for her appointment.
