Two flights from Sofia to Tel Aviv have been canceled, the Sofia airport announced, BTA reported.
The first canceled flight is that of El Al, which was supposed to take off shortly after midnight, and the second is of "Wizzer", which was scheduled for 6:00. The flight to Hurghada, which was also supposed to leave at 6:00, was also cancelled.
Earlier today, Israel announced that it is closing its airspace for domestic and international flights from 00:30 local (and Bulgarian time).
