A political decision is what will be taken. The suggestion that the caretaker prime minister also take over the position of foreign minister is not the best. The combination between the prime minister and the position of foreign minister is a difficult task, and yet it weakens the positions of foreign policy - this is what he commented in the studio of "The day begins" the professor of constitutional law Prof. Ekaterina Mihailova.
According to her, the subject of the foreign minister has become the bone of contention, while in fact the political quarrel should be in the background:
"Foreign policy should follow a logic that the state has as a foreign policy course, which is a consequence of domestic policy. And who the person will be matters, but who the person is should not lead to upheavals in the country's foreign policy. Unfortunately, some such signals set a bad example both outside and inside the country," explained Mihailova.
In her words, as if no one is responsible for the official government, which is quite strange:
"Everyone proposes, but everyone avoids saying whose government it is, and it is really not clear whose it is, because once the president chooses from a circle of persons, then the chosen prime minister is expected to name the ministers , followed by a decree of the President and finally the Prime Minister and the Ministers are sworn in before the National Assembly.
If it comes to a change of ministers in the official cabinet, for the swearing-in of one or two ministers, a special session of the parliament will have to be convened, since the deputies will be on vacation during the election campaign, Prof. Ekaterina Mihailova also explained.
