The disaster near Aksakovo will not affect our election campaign. I expect the investigation to be completed and to clarify who is to blame for the accident. This is what PP-DB MP candidate Svilen Trifonov said in “The Live Day” on NOVA NEWS.

On the subject of the construction of the “Hemus“ he pointed out that the construction of the route to the road junction "Pleven" will happen by the end of 2025
Trifonov also commented on the incident with the "Belene" NPP. According to him, the site is not suitable for the construction of a nuclear power plant, as it is very old. He is of the opinion that it should not be abandoned, but used to create an industrial zone or a park for renewable sources.
Trifonov stated that there is a shortage of drinking water in Pleven, as there is only one water source. He indicated that a dam should be built.
