During the GERB, Bulgaria entered the European Banking Union - this is technical adoption of the euro. Together with Croatia, we were going to enter, but then the protests against us started, and that's why there is no euro. This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borisov on the sidelines of the parliament, quoted by Nova TV.
The leader of GERB described the result of the EC report as "collapse of everything" and "no positive news for Bulgaria". "There are no institutions, there is no unified policy, we can't even accept that something will work - this is all inherited, and the culprits are those who started it - these are PP-DB, Bozhkov and Radev, all those who protested," he believes Borisov.
Regarding attempts to form a government, he pointed out that only a wizard could form a government between parties that want to fight. "I'm sorry, when I could and had more than 80 deputies, I was responsible. The expert government is nonsense, with us everyone is an expert", he added.
