A commission under Article 23 of the Law on the National Security Service will sit and assess whether there is a threat and whether he is in danger the honorary chairman of DPS Ahmed Dogan and what is the nature of this threat. This was announced by the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Atanas Ilkov in the Council of Ministers.
Minister Ilkov clarified that today it will become clear whether the NSO needs to guard Ahmed Dogan based on the performed inspection and based on the analysis of the acquired information. The Ministry of the Interior has verified facts and circumstances indicated in a signal submitted to 112 regarding a threat to the life of the honorary chairman of the DPS.
All the collected information will be presented to the members of the commission to the NSO, which includes the head of the security service, the chairman of the National Security Service and the acting chief secretary of the Ministry of the Interior.
Earlier, the Ministry of the Interior announced that they had responded to two reports from addresses in the capital's "Boyana" district. and from "Rosenets" park, filed by DPS activists on phone 112 that the security of the honorary chairman of DPS is in danger. Patrols have been dispatched to the site to ensure public order and prevent illegal acts.
