Georgi Prodanov: The next ones who will suffer from the political instability are GERB - 1

This week saw an awakening after the political summer lethargy. We are heading towards a dynamic September, which will be indicative and decisive for the elections. We are yet to see many outcomes, political scientist Georgi Prodanov summarized in his comment to BNR-Radio Sofia.

"Let's not rush to call DPS the party of democracy. It is rather a party of the oligarchy, of the Alush-verisha. In it, politics has always been an instrument of influence. We are currently seeing a scandal between competitors for leverage. This clash does not give Dogan a halo. DPS is in decay. For a long time, they have not been engaged in pure politics there, but rather in diverting funds to municipalities and groups. The depletion of resources has led to cannibalism between the lobbies in the DPS."

According to Prodanov, however, the other parties are not immune to the "Peevski" phenomenon.
Delyan Peevski has been a key figure for years. Dependencies, services, people in contact with him are in all parties.

In the space of parties, the left is in ruins, the center is ending its stage. PP-DB is at the point of exhausting the meaning of its existence. After parting with DB, PP goes to political non-existence. The next ones to suffer from the political instability are GERB.

"I expect small parties to debut with hand tools (like “Majesty“). A long period of shifting economic layers and interests awaits us – predicted the political scientist. The battlefield that politics has become can bring about change only after the institutions are purged of influence. The election may start a reshuffle."

According to Georgi Prodanov, President Radev has political experience, but no political experience.

"It shows lust for power, but that is not enough. The people around him who repeat the mantra of Radev's party are trying to protect their own interest."
