With 100% processed protocols in RIC-Blagoevgrad, GERB-SDS is the first political force in the district with 32.83% of the vote of the voters. After them are the "DPS-New beginning" with 21.50%. Third are "Coalition We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria", which received only 8.99% of the votes in the district. With 8.25%, "Vazrazhdane" is fourth, followed by "BSP-United Left". – they get 8.10% from water. "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" have managed to gain the trust of 7.11% of voters. A little over 4% get the "There is such a people" party. After them, below the 4% barrier are SWORD and "Majesty".
The counting of votes took an extremely long time due to serious errors in the protocols of the Sectional Election Commissions. This happened as more than 3,000 changes were made to members of the SIC during the past week. Just yesterday, before the start of election day, more than 70 members who did not show up were replaced.
An interesting fact is the higher voter turnout in these elections. For the entire region, it was 40.67%. 128,727 people cast their vote, which is about 18,000 more than in the previous early elections.
GERB-SDS are also leaders with preferences. Stefan Apostolov, who was a deputy in the last regular parliament, receives about 5,300 preferences only in his hometown - Simitli. He is expected to be the frontrunner in the fight for the deputy chair in this parliament.
