The approach in politics for one party is to create a “sanitary cordon”, another - to put it in a “straitjacket”, a third – to be thrown out of the parliament will not lead to anything good in Bulgaria. Each Bulgarian MP represents thousands of voters who voted for a specific political force.
No one has the right to deprive Bulgarian citizens of full representation in the National Assembly. This is the political logic, this is the democratic practice. Everything else is called dictation and dictatorship.
This is what the MEP Elena Yoncheva commented to Euronews Bulgaria.
The practice of restricting the representatives of a particular party in the legislature on the basis of narrow party interests and declarations without legal basis resembles the situation in which fascism was born.
This is the way to point fingers and isolate hundreds of thousands of Bulgarian citizens. Society is divided. Tensions arise.
Neither of us has any interest in that.
This approach is dangerous. He can blow up Bulgaria!, commented the journalist.
