A man got into big trouble after he allowed himself to insult police officers in Stamboliyski. The action took place a few days ago. A police patrol was sent on a report of a beating on "Trakia" Street. in the city. There, the man in question met them aggressively.
He repeatedly made threats of self-harm and insulting words, shouting “What you want, what will you do to me“. He refused to comply with any orders from the uniformed officers who were supposed to check his identity and his belongings.
His behavior caused him to be handcuffed and taken to the district office in Stamboliyski. There he became aggressive again, insulted and threatened the police officer. He told him “Hey ***, I will blow you out of the fight”. He called his colleagues “cleaners" and "rubbish", shouted at them "I will blow you out of battle", writes "Maritsa".
The man was brought before the court. In his explanations, he said that he was sorry for what he had done. He apologized for what happened and promised that what was done would not happen again. He asked for a light sentence as his detention would have resulted in his dismissal.
In the end, the magistrates imposed a fine of BGN 100 on him under the Decree on Combating Petty Hooliganism.
