We should look at the situation more optimistically, because yesterday we received a proposal to get out of the political crisis. GERB-SDS gave a clear formula for management that cannot be criticized and rejected by PP-DB, BSP and ITN. This is what he said in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria" the political scientist prof. Svetoslav Malinov.
"Still, an apparently insurmountable obstacle was put in place - Boyko Borisov being prime minister. And that can be negotiated though. The basis for negotiations of GERB is broad and very strong. Peevski behaves like the leader of the opposition, he is in isolation, he cannot talk to anyone in the parliament. And GERB-SDS will pay a price for its neutrality regarding Peevski's role in the election process," he added.
The political scientist Prof. Rosen Stoyanov believes that negotiations are always started with slightly bolder plans in order to be able to make concessions. "There is a slight clearing of the terrain and clarification of the situation. It is a matter of days to find out whether there will be a positive development in the negotiations and whether a coalition agreement will be concluded," the expert believes.
Political analyst Miroslav Sevlijevski expressed the opinion that Peevski is a bypassable factor. "I saw that there is a new beginning in the talks to do something in Bulgarian politics. Borisov is in a difficult position. He dominated the last 15 years, but during his time democracy began to break down, there were no fair elections - that's what historians will say in time. "Now a commission for changes to the Electoral Code should be created," Sevlievski believes.
