After today's quite radical requests by the various parties, especially the first two, as if the election of the Speaker of the National Assembly seems foreboding. But still, let's hope for more sanity in the next hours. It is important for the parliament to function. This is what Vice President Iliana Yotova said, quoted by Nova TV.
„Unfortunately, there are no deadlines in this regard, but if those who think that in this way they will get to the elections faster, let them take into account the opinion of us, the Bulgarian voters, because they they may have great patience in their negotiations or intentions, or in political intrigue, but our patience as voters is not infinite”, she categorically stated.
Iotova stressed that she treats the process of exchange of conditions between the parties peacefully. „ Because it is better to have talks between the parties, to have a dialogue and to set conditions. Only through dialogue and different positions can some common consensus position be sought. However, the bad thing is that until this moment I do not see a convergence of these positions. But I say again - there is enough time and we, on the part of the presidential institution, are waiting for both the parliamentary groups and the parties to do their work, so that the normal constitutional process of consultations and giving mandates can begin, added the vice president.
