Residents of the capital's "Faculty" neighborhood went out to protest against the alleged Roma baron Kiril Kirov - known as Kiro the Japanese, BNT reported.
The discontented claim that for years Kirov and his family have been harassing the residents of the neighborhood, extorting them and forcing them to leave their homes, even to emigrate abroad. According to the protesters, the Japanese's associates distributed drugs in the neighborhood, beat and even raped women. At the protest, they raised posters with the inscriptions "No to drugs! No to racketeering! No to violence!".
10 days ago, police officers raided Kiril Kirov's home in "Fakulteta". Then Kirov went to the SDVR himself, where he was questioned as a witness on a report against him for assault and taking 4,000 leva. Kirov was not charged.
"Yesterday Kiro - the Japanese threatened me, saying that he knows, he hasn't bothered my daughters before, but now he knows where we live. That is, if he orders them to kill them, the state will put him in prison until his grave. It will rot there," said Georgi Petrov - Yoncho.
