Tomorrow there should be talks between "We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria" and GERD. In this dynamic situation, such a request from the prosecution explodes the situation and presupposes that the talks will be difficult. What the evidence is, only the prosecution can say, he said in the program "Face to Face". the co-chairman of the "BSP - United Left" Borislav Gutsanov. We remind you that a little earlier today the acting chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov requested the immunity of the co-chairman of "We continue the change". Kiril Petkov because of Borisov's arrest.
Concerns and question marks remain. At a very difficult moment, in a parliament that is difficult, extremely difficult were the negotiations to get to the election of a president, such a request will obviously have its effects and blow up the situation. Those who do not want to have a government and are rushing to the next early elections will benefit from this. We from the BSP do not consider this to be correct, said Gutsanov.
However, I hope that after this difficult election of the president, there will be a normal existence of the parliament. Assoc. Natalia Kiselova was the best possible candidate. The success of the BSP is indisputable, but it is also indisputable that the other parties took a step back, without which this election could not have been reached. The BSP has come out of the isolation it was in in recent years, but this also shows a good dialogue between the parties, the socialist added.
In response to a question about who proposed Natalia Kiselova, the co-chairman of the "BSP - United Left" pointed out: "There were talks from the Sofia organization, and from my side, and from other socialists. I am glad that she has accepted to be a part of the BSP list. We were looking for constitutionalists, lawyers at the highest level, because there has been talk of a constitutional crisis for a long time.
Borislav Gutsanov also commented on the request from GERB that party leader Boyko Borisov will take the first mandate to form a regular government.
BSP cannot say "yes" of GERB in the form in which they speak - to be a political cabinet. At the moment, our country needs a transitional cabinet, an expert cabinet. A political cabinet cannot succeed. We need to look for such a prime minister and such ministers who would be accepted by the parties, as well as to see what the main priorities of our country are. A mutually acceptable compromise must be found. It is obvious that in this situation Bulgaria cannot come up with a political cabinet. We will not accept such a cabinet in any way. The parties that may go to negotiations should see what their points of contact are, Gutsanov noted.
He assured that the BSP will support legal changes to change the composition of the Supreme Judicial Council, which will elect the next chief prosecutor. Next, so many regulators who have expired must be replaced, said the co-chairman of the "BSP - United Left".
In response to a question, he said that if the third mandate to form a government is handed to the BSP, the socialists will certainly make every effort to make the cabinet a reality.
