I have always wondered where the casting for the Prosecutor General is and who determines it", Naydenov pointed out.
According to him, it cannot be assumed that constitutional provisions can be repealed by law. "One such provision states that the Supreme Judicial Council elects the Prosecutor General. If a question were addressed to the Constitutional Court, the answer would be in this sense. Perhaps the parliament's decision to amend the Judiciary Act is a legal technology. It is time for reason to prevail and for a new Supreme Judicial Council, a new inspectorate, and generally new compositions of the regulatory bodies in the judicial system, whose mandate has long expired, to be elected. In this case, we see how a law is being made for certain individuals - Sarafov and Cholakov. Legislation should not be made like this - looking for how to prohibit someone from doing something. Quality people must be elected who can make independent decisions," commented the lawyer.
