A boy was hit this morning on a pedestrian crossing in Ruse. He was hit by a car with Razgrad registration, which was moving in the direction of the traffic police on Lipnik Blvd., bTV reported.
The incident occurred near the Imperial complex. According to the driver of the car, he was driving in the middle lane and stopped on the pedestrian crossing to let two pedestrians pass.
When he drove off, he looked around, but did not see the young man, who suddenly jumped out from his right side, and he pushed him. The driver assumes that the boy was running to school.
Police and emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. The boy was taken to hospital for examination with a suspected broken leg. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
