"I did not intend to run for BSP chairman, but I was nominated by structures. I tried in many of them to stop my candidacy. I simply could not reach these structures from which my candidacy comes". Anton Kutev commented on "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" on BNT.

He believes that the procedure in which he participates - for direct election - will be failed, and the congress will change the statute and elect the new chairman by delegate vote.

"The congress will mean an election in a much more organizational form, which sharply gives an advantage to one or two candidates. There is nothing wrong with that, I cannot in any case oppose any of the people who participate in this race. The BSP must move forward together, because it is in a very difficult period, especially now, from the point of view of participation in the government".

According to him, participation in the government puts the existence of the BSP at stake. He pointed out that there should have been a regular government, but each of the three parties will pay a price, with the BSP and the ITN being more damaged.

"I cannot blame my colleagues - someone had to do it. If I were in their place, I would not do it, but I understand this decision. In order for this to turn into a triumph, we have to do the work".

This government lacks political action - commented Kutev and gave the actions of US President Donald Trump as an example. Kutev stated that President Radev had the clear intention and support for a regular government.

"First, he stated it verbally many times, secondly - all his actions, consistent, not only giving a longer deadline for forming the coalition, showed that he wanted to support the process of creating a regular government, which we all wanted".
