The operation was carried out as a result of good international cooperation with the authorities in Montenegro. The man was wanted on an Interpol Red Notice in connection with a crime against the person committed by him - murder, leadership and participation in an organized criminal group for drug and arms trafficking.

During the operational-search actions, it was established that the man was hiding in the territory of the capital. After a well-organized operation in the General Directorate of Internal Affairs, actions were taken to detain the foreign citizen. He tried to avoid arrest by fiercely resisting, despite which he was detained.

The competent prosecutor's office has been notified of the case in order to take further steps on the issued arrest warrant.

A few days ago, another foreign citizen was detained, declared an international wanted person. The 29-year-old man was arrested in the territory of Sveti Vlas by officers of the "Search" sector in the General Directorate of Internal Affairs, together with their colleagues from the Burgas Regional Directorate of Internal Affairs. Criminal proceedings are underway in Italy against him for murder, bodily harm, trafficking in weapons, ammunition and explosives, for which the punishment provided is life imprisonment.
