An elderly man fell into a three-meter unsecured shaft in the basement of an apartment building in Ruse, Nova TV reports. He was accompanying a water utility collector who was supposed to read the readings of a water meter in the basement of the building.
Suddenly the man fell into the shaft, and neighbors who came to his aid called an ambulance. A Fire and Emergency Safety team had to be called in to pull the victim out with ropes.
