A total of 444 competitions for directors of state and municipal institutions in the system of preschool and school education are announced by the Ministry of Education and Science and the regional departments of education. This is shown by a report published in the new issue of the newspaper “Az-buki“, quoted by BTA.
There is no data on why such a mass change of principals is taking place. The largest part of the 401 vacant positions are for heads of state and municipal schools. By districts in the country, the most announced competitions for school directors are from the Regional Department of Education – Sofia-city, total 35.
Competitions for new principals have been announced for the capital for 5. Primary School “Ivan Vazov“, 152. Primary School “St. St. Cyril and Methodius“., Vocational High School of Transport and Energy “Henry Ford“, 51. Primary School “Elisaveta Bagryana“, 120 Primary School “G. S. Rakovski“, National Financial and Economic High School, etc.
In Varna district, 27 competitions for school leaders have been announced, in Plovdiv district - 26, and in Pleven - 24. The fewest orders for school principals are in Pernik district, where there are three orders. Here is the full list.
New managers will also be sought for 22 centers for special educational support in 19 regions of the country. 13 competitions for directors of centers for support for personal development – student dormitories have also been announced.
The Ministry of Education and Science also announces competitions for directors of four regional centers for supporting the process of inclusive education, as well as for the State Speech Therapy Center.
Documents are accepted until July 14, including by e-mail.
The competitions will be held in two stages – a written exam, which includes solving a test, and an interview with the candidate, which also includes solving cases, and defending a concept for strategic management of the institution.
