The marketing of disposable electronic cigarettes, containing or not containing nicotine - the so-called disposable vapes - is prohibited. This was decided by the deputies during a discussion of amendments to the Law on Tobacco, Tobacco and Related Products. The text was adopted on second reading with 133 votes "for", 30 "against" and 8 "abstained", reports BTA.
The Parliament banned the offer and sale, in addition to tobacco products, of products other than tobacco, smokeless tobacco products, new tobacco products and heated tobacco products, on the territory of nurseries and kindergartens, schools, student dormitories, medical and health institutions and their adjacent areas, as well as at sports events and public events organized for children and students.
The offer and sale of products (nicotine pouch, snus) whose nicotine content exceeds 20 mg/unit of product are prohibited, the deputies also adopted.
