The government of Rosen Zhelyazkov is stable. The government will last and the main sign of this is the 171 signatures of MPs who supported Bulgaria's accession to the eurozone. This was stated by the former Minister of Health, and now a member of the GERB-SDF party and Chairman of the Joint Management Council (JMC) Kostadin Angelov to BTV.

Prof. Angelov described Toshko Yordanov's words to young doctors as emotional. Throughout the past week, the main topic being discussed has been Mr. Yordanov's statement and we need to separate the chaff from the flour. The salary of young doctors is high and solutions must be sought, the former Minister of Health urged. He believes that a resignation of a member of parliament will not solve the problem with the salaries of young specialists.
Prof. Kostadin Angelov suggests first making it clear whether there is or is not a consensus regarding the formation of doctors' salaries. "By July 14, each parliamentary group must submit its proposals, hold a round table and reach a consensus. There has been no consensus on the request for a percentage of additional remuneration for additional qualifications achieved in Bulgaria or in the EU", the member of parliament emphasized.
"I would not like to pit one profession against another - I am categorically "for" doctors to receive a higher salary. Every education in the healthcare system, as a specialist, is a form of suffering, because the system with its accumulations has led to this type of decision. The salaries of young doctors cannot be lower than 2000 leva, but even that is not the case," emphasized Prof. Kostadin Angelov. And he concluded that doctors should be in one of the leading positions in terms of salary in the country.
