Kostadinov: The Eurozone is a financial concentration camp. Protesters burn euros in the center of Sofia - 1

A protest against the adoption of the euro, organized by “Vazrazhdane“, began in the center of Sofia in the area of the “triangle of power“. The protesters set fire to large euro banknotes. The dissatisfied citizens jump on the flag of the European Union and sing songs.

The eurozone is a trap with no way out, commented the leader of “Vazrazhdane“ Kostadin Kostadinov, who went to the protesters for the preservation of the Bulgarian lev in the center of Sofia.

There are no irreversible things. The lev can be preserved if the Bulgarian people wish, said Kostadinov about today's finalization of the procedure for our country's accession to the single European currency.

The eurozone is a financial concentration camp, Kostadinov believes. He added that the fight to preserve our national currency will continue.

If you take the main financial instrument of a country, you subjugate it, he also said. Kostadinov again pointed out that the inflation data in our country were “fake and manipulated“. The eurozone is suffocating under its own weight. The euro is not backed by anything, Kostadin Kostadinov also commented.

The leader of “Vazrazhdane“ said that the formation will continue the fight to overthrow the government, which, in Kostadinov's words, is “colonial“ and has “written a black page“ in Bulgarian history.

With shouts of “No to the euro!“ and “Resign!“ protesters gathered in the space between the National Assembly building and the presidency this evening in defense of the Bulgarian lev. There is a heavy police presence in the area.
