GERB controls the Municipal Council, together with their appendages from the BSP, "There are such people" and the remnants of "Vazrazhdane" have a solid majority. GERB has no interest in anything happening in Sofia during this term. They want to sabotage every attempt at change and reform, so that in 2 years Boyko Borisov can come out in the elections and say - did you see that Sofia cannot be governed without us, these current ones are incapable. He added that the reforms proposed by "Save Sofia" in the capital were blocked with unfounded, in Bonev's words, motives.
