Traffic on the main road Burgas - Malko Tarnovo has been restored, after it was temporarily stopped earlier today due to a fire in the area between the village of Marinka and the junction for the village of Izvor. This was reported to BTA by the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior – Burgas.
The fire, which engulfed dry grass and bushes along the roadway, forced the closure of the section in order to ensure traffic safety and facilitate firefighting operations.
"There is a front that is far from the route, near the village of Izvor", the police added.
At the moment, there is no direct danger to road users or the population.
A fire has broken out in the village of Drangovo in Petrich. There is also an overturned car in the area of the fire, and the causes of the traffic accident are being clarified. Chief Inspector Stoyan Tilev, head of the Regional Service "Fire Safety and Population Protection" (RSPBZN) in the Petrich municipality, told BTA.
Three fire brigade teams are on site. The emergency unit in Petrich is also providing assistance. The fire was reported at around 8:00 p.m., the chief commissioner explained. The causes of the fire are being clarified.
A fire in a forest area next to the road between the villages of Mokren and Gradets closed the road from the "Petolachkata" intersection to the village of Gradets, the press center of the regional police in Sliven reported, dariknews.bg reported.

There are seven fire crews and a forest officer on site. A helicopter is expected to join the extinguishing. A headquarters has been formed.
Traffic is being diverted via the Sliven-Ichera-Kotel road.
