Due to the removal of roadside vegetation and the dismantling of advertising facilities, the organization of traffic on the "Hemus" Motorway in the Sofia region will be changed, the Road Infrastructure Agency reports.
Today, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. roadside vegetation will be removed in two sections of the "Hemus" Motorway. The activities will be carried out between the 44th and 46th km in the direction of Sofia and from the 48th to 52nd km in the direction of Varna on the highway. During the implementation, equipment will be deployed in the emergency lane, and traffic will pass without restrictions in the active and overtaking lanes. Drivers are required to drive with increased caution and at a reasonable speed.
Tomorrow, Tuesday - July 29, advertising facilities will be removed in two sections. In the interval from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., work will be carried out at km 18 of the highway in the direction of Sofia, and during their implementation, the active lane will be closed for passage, and traffic will be carried out in the overtaking lane. From 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., activities to remove the facilities will be between km 24 and 25 in the direction of Sofia. During the work, traffic will only pass in the overtaking lane.
On July 30 /Wednesday/ from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., drivers should drive with increased caution and at a reasonable speed in two sections of the highway due to the removal of roadside vegetation. Activities will be carried out in the section from 42nd to 44th km in the direction of Sofia and between 48th and 52nd km in the lane to Varna.
Traffic will be carried out in the middle and overtaking lanes, with increased caution and appropriate speed.
