A motorcyclist has died in an accident in Pleven region, the police announced. The incident occurred at 04:08 on July 27 on a main road in the area of the village of Gorni Dabnik.
The police officers who arrived at the scene established the identity of the 53-year-old motorcyclist.
The causes of the incident are being clarified. The Pleven District Prosecutor's Office has been notified.
The body of the deceased has been brought for an autopsy.
The Ministry of Interior reports that over the past 24 hours, one person has died and 25 others have been injured in 22 serious road accidents across the country. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 329 road fatalities, 3,685 serious traffic accidents, and 4,590 injured.
