A sixteen-year-old young man fell from a hotel terrace in Primorsko, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Burgas announced, BTA reports.
The victim is from the village of Hadzhidimovo, Gotse Delchev municipality, and was staying at the hotel as part of an organized summer children's camp. According to initial reports, when leaning on the railing of a terrace on the first floor, the metal structure broke, as a result of which the young man fell to the ground.
The incident occurred at around 1:00 p.m. The young man was taken to the University Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment - Burgas, in a contact condition, with a probable fracture of the arm and a head injury.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
BTA recalls that a similar incident occurred two days ago in Kiten, where a fifteen-year-old child fell from a terrace on the fifth floor while trying to move from one hotel room to another, using the outer part of the balcony. He was also part of an organized summer camp. The child was admitted to hospital with serious injuries and life-threatening injuries.
