The next regular plenary session of the parliament will be on September 3 at 9:00 a.m. This was announced by the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova before closing today's last plenary session before the summer vacation.

According to the regulations on the organization and activities of the National Assembly, the deputies are on vacation from August 1 to 31 each year.

On their last working day, the deputies were supposed to vote on the second reading of the texts of the State Property Law. The deputies from the PP-DB asked the chairman of the session, Tsoncho Ganev, to check the quorum before that. The proposal was made by the MP from PP-DB Bozhidar Bozhanov, who called on Ganev to conduct such a check, although since the beginning of the session three checks had been made, requested by the parliamentary groups of the parties in the ruling majority - GERB-SDF, "BSP-United Left" and "There is such a people".

Bozhanov insisted that the chairman is not limited by checks. "I explicitly call on Mr. Ganev to request a check of the quorum. The chairman may carry out a check of the quorum on his own initiative or at the request of a parliamentary group up to three times," Bozhanov pointed out.

During the registration requested by Tsoncho Ganev, the chairman of the 51st National Assembly, Natalia Kiselova, stopped the check. In response, Bozhidar Bozhanov pointed out that there was obviously no quorum, and the chairman Kiselova stopped the check. Bozanov suggested that the session be adjourned as well. Hristo Rastashki asked the Speaker if she was not ashamed of the fact that she had come and requested a quorum check. Atanas Atanasov from "BSP-United Left" commented that it was touching how the PP-DB praised Tsoncho Ganev's actions. He appealed to the Speaker to restore order in the hall so that they could continue working.

Lena Borislavova from PP-DB called on Kiselova to consult with her staff and check her transcript. For the first time, a precedent in the work of the National Assembly, we risk continuing work in the absence of a quorum, Borislavova noted.

Stanislav Anastasov asked Tsoncho Ganev if he had even registered since the morning to lead the parliamentary session. The rules require that when there are not enough registered people, a 15-minute break be given, Kiselova reminded them.

"A disgraceful act, you violated the rules and your colleagues from GERB grabbed their heads and do not want to defend you", said Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB.

His colleague Manol Peykov stated that currently 4,400 state properties, with the vote on the changes to the State Property Law, will be released for privatization. "What they are trying to do is to get their law passed. We believe that this is an unworthy law and it should not be passed. The procedure that we initiated is through Mr. Tsoncho Ganev, with whom, obviously, it is no secret that we have had an emotional affair with Mr. Tsoncho Ganev for a long time. The state is governed with morality and principles. Principles are what make two parties - completely opposite, unite. "Call your colleagues to come back from the beach in Greece," Peykov added.
