Gen. Atanas Atanasov: There are serious defects in the management. Kiselova's resignation should be demanded - 1

"I am surprised that for so many years the institutions have been indifferent to the issue of the property of the "Iskar" dam.

The Russian Embassy uses a number of properties in Bulgaria, but the special thing about this is that this property is in the sanitary zone of the dam, which supplies Sofia with water. I don't want to imagine how the dam wall could fall. I am left with the impression that no one is guarding anything".

This was said by the leader of the DSB, Gen. Atanas Atanasov to BNT.

A few days ago, he warned that the Russian embassy was using property in the dam basin without legal basis.

Atanasov also commented on the situation with fires in our country. According to him, a lot of work needs to be done in terms of fire prevention.

"One of the reasons for the fires is the power grid. In their desire to capitalize on profits, work there has been neglected. Clearings need to be cleared, trees need to be pruned. On the other hand, the number of fire departments has clearly decreased and the staff needs to be redistributed," he said.

"From these two terms in which Rumen Radev was president, apart from criticizing the government, in some cases with reason, I have not seen anything good", Atanasov said.

"The executive branch's duty is to ensure public order and security in the country," he was categorical.

Atanasov said that the PP-DB was a constructive opposition. "We did not participate in votes of no confidence. Of course, however, we have given signs that we see very serious defects in the governance of the country," said the DSB leader.

"There are serious defects in the governance. We have started work to organize a vote of no confidence in September on the topic of public order and security. The repressive power in the country has been usurped by the ruling party. This thing must be stopped," Atanasov said.

However, he was categorical that they would not negotiate with the DPS - New Beginnings to participate in the vote of no confidence.

"The resignation of Natalia Kiselova must be demanded. We must collect 80 signatures. The opposition forces have these signatures, but negotiations must be held. Last night we discussed this issue and we have a plan," Atanasov also said.
