The Romanian driver who caused the serious accident in the Republic Pass has been charged. He has been detained for 72 hours, and the prosecutor's office will request the most severe measure of detention “Detention in custody“.
The serious accident with 10 injured, including four children, occurred yesterday morning, bTV specified.
Half of the injured are Romanian citizens, two of whom were transported by helicopter to Romania, and two others released for home treatment.
Six of the injured remained in the hospital in Veliko Tarnovo, and today one of them will be transported to "Pirogov" for pelvic surgery.
All are in stable condition and out of danger.
The driver of the second Romanian car that tested positive for drugs has not been detained, and the results of his blood test are awaited.
