Four people were rescued after an incident at sea, BNT reported. Late this afternoon, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center – Varna reported a report of an capsized boat with people in the water in the waters near Nessebar.
The cutter “Spasitel-4“, with captain Emil Petrov and sailor Kaloyan Raykovski, who set sail from the North Port in Nessebar 10 minutes after the report was made, responded immediately.
The scene of the incident was located thanks to a passing civilian boat, which allowed the rescue team to quickly find and remove all four people on board – alive and unharmed.
The capsized boat was hooked up and towed back to the North Port of Nessebar, where it was pulled ashore in order to clear the navigation path and ensure the safety of other vessels in the area.
