The accident that left Veliko Tarnovo and several villages in the region without water this morning has been repaired, announced the mayor of the municipality Daniel Panov on his Facebook page.
This happened much earlier than the deadline previously announced by the Water and Sewerage Company "Yovkovtsi". According to Mayor Panov, the additional heavy equipment provided has significantly helped to quickly resolve the problem.
The normal water supply for Veliko Tarnovo and the villages of Samovodene, Belyakovets, Shemshevo, Ledenik, Pushevo, Momin Sbor, Vetrintsi, Balvan, Novo Selo, Emen is already being restored.
It was initially announced that the damage would leave several settlements without water until the end of the day, but the rapid detection of the damaged section and timely actions yielded results.
