„The government of Peevski and Borisov is preparing to sell off state properties – some here, others along the state border. They are wrapping up the biggest robbery since the 1990s. These are 4,400 state properties. It is no coincidence that they pushed through the changes to the law on state property on the eve of the holidays“, said President Rumen Radev at a briefing in Varna, quoted by bTV.
„The rush with the euro has emptied the treasury and now the cabinet is looking for money and selling off the state. Thus, one mistake leads to another. The clientele of the new assembly will benefit from them, while all Bulgarians will become poorer, and nature will also suffer. That's why I imposed a veto and I expect the deputies to make sense of it“, Rumen Radev also pointed out.
According to him, there are many funds for armaments and equipment, but there must be good prioritization and maximum involvement of the Bulgarian defense industry.
