A mentally ill man from Pernik has beaten up a BDZ employee.
The incident took place in a train in the area of the city of Pernik, BNR reports.
Yesterday, shortly before 07:30, a man of apparent age of about 30 beat up a 58-year-old BDZ employee, hitting her in the head with his hands. The woman has minor injuries, not life-threatening.
It was later established that the perpetrator of the act is a 30-year-old man from Pernik, who leads a vagrant lifestyle and has mental problems.
He is admitted to the psychiatric ward of the Pernik multi-profile hospital for active treatment "Rahila Angelova". Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated and work is ongoing.
