It's a fact. Indeed, many large stations are running out of gasoline. Not only the small ones, but mainly the small ones. The situation with them is a little more critical. Indeed, there are stations that are without fuel for 3, 4 days. This was stated in "The Day Begins" on BNT by Dimitar Hadzhidimitrov - Chairman of the Association of Bulgarian Traders, Producers, Importers and Transporters of Fuels.
"Currently, there are not enough quantities of gasoline that are ready for sale with the necessary amount of bioethanol. We're going to drown in gasoline, but there is no bioethanol to put into it so that we can meet the conditions for a 10% bioethanol content in gasoline".
He explained that there are force majeure circumstances. There are three companies with which contracts were concluded last year. He explained that there is a problem with one of the companies and this is the current reason for the gasoline crisis.
Dimitar Hadzhidimitrov explained that currently no one in our country is to blame for this situation. It is the same in many countries in Europe. The company whose fault it is is in Ukraine and most likely will not be held liable.
"Most likely there will be representatives of the large chains who will file claims for disrupted supplies. So I think that this will also happen in the market. There is a large chain in Bulgaria that has had a shortage of 95 gasoline and A100 in recent days".
This way they suffer huge losses, he added. The problem is very serious for smaller settlements, because there are no representatives of the large chains there.
