Delyan Peevski: The plundering of state property must stop! - 1

The leader of the DPS and the PG of the DPS - NEW BEGINNING Delyan Peevski stated that the plundering of state property and property must stop once and for all. In his statement, he emphasized that the assets belong to the people and must remain with the people.

"After 35 years of plundering, robber-managerial privatization and destruction of the state's capital, it is time for a new beginning in the management and management of state property," Peevski stated.

He sharply criticized the privatization process, which has been underway in Bulgaria for decades. According to him, all attempts to suggest that there is a "good" privatization are "wind and fog".

Delyan Peevski proposed specific measures to stop the sale of state property. His main idea is to close down the structures that carried out privatization and change the legal framework.

"I propose closing down the structures that carried out privatization and changing the legal framework related to the management and control of state and municipal properties and enterprises," the leader of the MRF announced.

He specified his proposal, indicating that the first step should be to close down the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control, which is the successor to the Agency for Privatization and Post-Privatization Control.

According to Peevski, every department and every institution must manage property for the benefit of the people. He emphasized that the state, as a good manager, must be engaged in this issue.

The leader of the MRF listed specific ways to use state property - construction of schools and kindergartens, housing for the military, police, firefighters and their families, hospitals and medical institutions, homes for the elderly and sick.

"To provide housing for young doctors and teachers throughout the country and to create conditions for the development of the regions by attracting public-private partnerships," he added.

In his statement, Peevski sharply criticized previous privatization processes. He mentioned specific cases, such as the sale of Rumen Radev's official offices or Ivan Kostov's office.

According to him, Ivan Kostov is "the father of the midday robbery of state assets, sold for pennies into the hands of oligarchs like Prokopiev".

Peevski emphasized that the new beginning will put an end to the robbery and from now on, nothing from state property will be sold off.
