A car overtook the NSO car, in which Transport Minister Grozdan Karadjov was driving on the "Trakia" highway - at a very high speed and in the emergency lane. He reported this on Facebook.
„I am traveling in an NSO car on the Trakia highway. A BMW overtook us, which we followed. The speeding car is moving at a speed of between 190 and 210 kilometers per hour. It is overtaking in the emergency lane. Then convince me again that the average speed on highways should not be measured. It should be! And the books must be taken!“, Karadzhov also points out.
He also points out that he filed a report with the Traffic Police and the offender was stopped at the entrance to Burgas.
„We filed a report together with the NSO officer to give the authorities a chance to sanction the offender. I am also attaching video evidence. I call on all those who are truly fighting against the road warriors to be uncompromising and to file their reports with the police. Only with joint efforts and public pressure will we make the court recognize the testimonies and video evidence of the outrages on our roads“, Karadzhov also points out.
„In addition to everything else, the warrior turned out to be a “sly” - he put foil on his license plate so that he would not be registered by the cameras! I have bad news for you - the cameras at the toll booth are trained to detect fraud," the Minister of Transport also announced.
According to him, on the last frame before Burgas - the current speed is 200 km/h.
