For a cycling tour, traffic on the Podbalkanski road will be temporarily restricted in the section from the junction for the village of Mirkovo to Chelopech, the “Road Infrastructure“ Agency announced.
On August 20, from 2:15 p.m. to 4:40 p.m., traffic on the I-6 Sofia - Karlovo (Podbalkanski road) road will be gradually restricted in the 9-kilometer section from the junction for the village of Mirkovo to the village of Chelopech.
Cars will wait in place for cyclists to pass, after which traffic will be passed. Traffic will be regulated by teams of the “Traffic Police“.
The traffic agency appeals to drivers to travel carefully, to strictly follow the posted traffic signs, to keep a distance and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of other travelers.
