Doctors from the Plovdiv University Hospital are fighting for his life, BNT reports.
We recall that while carrying out activities on the territory of "Arsenal" AD, an excavator – front-end loader driven by a 53-year-old man caught fire behind the machine.
The flame spread to the excavator's body and affected the worker. The excavator has superficial burns, bTV reported.
An ambulance team from Kazanlak immediately arrived at the scene. He was provided with timely and adequate medical care and was transported to the Burns Clinic at the University Hospital “St. George“ - Plovdiv.
The worker is not an employee of the enterprise, but of an external company. The activities carried out by the excavator are not related to a production process.
An inspection is underway at the scene and the causes of the fire are being clarified. There is no danger to people or production.
Just weeks ago, a worker died when a machine broke down at the “Arsenal“ factory.
The incident occurred in a workshop for drying nitroglycerin mixture, which is used to produce gunpowder, in factory No. 3.
