Protest in General Toshevo, over the death of 70-year-old photographer Dinko Georgiev. The man died after a neighborly quarrel on August 13. Initially, the man was taken to hospital in serious condition, but a day later he died in the hospital. The victim's relatives claim that the man was severely beaten and demand a fair punishment, Nova TV reported.
At this hour, relatives and friends are gathering in the town square.
„It all started with a remark from my mother to a group of people who had gathered and were making noise. It was approached in an intelligent way, with a request to these people. The large group of 7-10 people attacked my mother with insulting words and qualifications. My mother barricaded herself at home. "My father and I were in Varna at the time and we quickly returned home," says the victim's son Ivaylo Georgiev.
He predicted that the noisy company would call more people, which is why he called the emergency number 112. They had already seen the lights of the police car when they were attacked by the people called by their neighbors.
„I call on the institutions to do their job objectively. Every single thing should be reviewed as facts and circumstances. There should be no interference that could hinder this investigation by this group of people,” said the victim's son.
