A fire has engulfed a large area of forests in the Golyamo Selo region, Bobov Dol municipality, Katya Tabachka, spokeswoman for the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyustendil, told BTA. According to her, the fire is between the Bineka area and the village of Golyamo Selo, Bobov Dol municipality.
Five fire brigade teams from Bobov Dol, Dupnitsa and Kyustendil are working on site.
The fire was reported at around 8:30 p.m. The fire has engulfed a large area of dry vegetation, so far there is no danger to the population, Tabachka added.
