The court in Burgas will consider the measure of Nikola Burgazliev, who mowed down five people with an ATV in Sunny Beach. The regional prosecutor's office charged him with causing moderate bodily harm, and the court released him under house arrest. Protests in Sofia and Burgas are being organized in front of the Courthouses demanding a fair trial, BNT reports.
The 35-year-old woman who was hit in the serious accident is in critical condition, which has worsened in recent days.

Doctors are fighting for her son's life.
The woman's brain has refused to function, and her heart is being artificially supported with medication. The condition of her 4-year-old son also remains serious.

The other two children who were injured on August 14 have been discharged from the hospital.
Last week, the 18-year-old crashed an ATV into five people - three children and two adults. Yesterday, Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov ordered the investigation to be taken over by the National Investigation Agency due to its legal complexity.
"My daughter is in a very serious condition. The doctors said that there was no chance of survival. There was none. There simply was none. People did everything they could. But the blow was very severe, very cruel. The child also continues to be in the hospital - he is not in contact, he has not woken up. His condition has also been very serious for the eighth day," she tells in "The Day Begins" the mother of the victim, 35-year-old woman Zlatka Sokolova.

How do we explain to my daughter's other child that his mother will never return. Who will send him to the first day of school, asked the victim's mother.
"Because someone decided to have fun in the center of Sunny Beach. It's not fair, people. Believe me - it's not fair. To my child and to all the children who so ridiculously die on the roads".

The brother of the injured woman stated that the protesters' demands were "Burgazliev's parents to be removed from office until the case is clarified".
"A fair trial, severe punishment for what was done, I don't know - I don't know what to say".

The father of the other children injured in the incident said that the children were physically well, but not quite mentally.

The protesters demanded: "Nikola to leave in handcuffs and not because we want a lynching, but we want there to be reciprocity of the measure that is being taken".
They insisted on a fair trial that would not be influenced by individuals in the system.
