Dictatorships come in many forms. We are not in a North Korean or Soviet dictatorship, but soft dictatorships are no less bad. There are many signs that this government is a front for the conquest of the state. The prosecutor's office is selectively hitting opposition politicians. With immunities lifted, mayors and deputy mayors are under arrest, we are only from the opposition. Another indication is the increase in the salaries of the security structures – Ministry of Interior, State Security Agency – in order to strengthen the tools with which the state can hold power. This was said by the co-chair of „Democratic Bulgaria” Bozhidar Bozhanov in “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov”.
He pointed out that protest is one of the forms of resistance. And added that one of the issues they were engaged with in the summer was about state-owned properties that are no longer necessary.
Bozhanov said that in the summer they worked from the DB, regardless of the claims of critics.
He stated that the PP-DB does not have a collaboration with “Vazrazhdane, but that of Kostadin Kostadinov's party with GERB “is quite visible, if you look closely”.
Rumen Radev's place in politics
The politician believes that the president has taken on the role of a divider of the nation. He said that there can be no alliance between the DB and Rumen Radev.
A vote of no confidence
Bozhanov said that the reasons for the vote of no confidence were the criticism that the cabinet was a front for Delyan Peevski's actions.
In his words, the case with the State Agency for National Security and Defense was one of the reasons. He explained that Denyo Denev, who is the nomination of the Council of Ministers for the chairman of the State Agency for National Security and Defense, sabotaged the machine voting in the local elections.
The co-chairman of the DB said that talks about the vote of no confidence with MECH began back in the summer.
Election of a new Supreme Judicial Council
Bozhidar Bozanov said that for the PP-DB it is important to have an election of a new Supreme Judicial Council. He pointed out that the old composition of the Supreme Judicial Council is illegitimate because its mandate has expired.
Atanas Zafirov's resignation
Bozhanov said that the PP-DB is demanding the resignation of Atanas Zafirov. He criticized the Deputy Prime Minister's visit to China.
