The payment of pensions in September this year through “Bulgarian Posts“ begins today (September 9) and will end on September 23 (Tuesday), dariknews.bg reported.
According to the Regulation on Pensions and Social Security Length of Service, post offices pay pensions and supplements to them in the period from the 7th to the 20th of the month to which they apply. When these two dates are non-working days, as is the case this month, the payment begins and ends on the first working days after them. The payment will be made according to a prepared schedule, which will be announced at each post office.
The transfers of the amounts for the September pensions to the accounts of pensioners who receive their money by bank transfer will be made on September 9, 2025.
On September 2, all eligible persons will be paid the cash benefits for pregnancy and childbirth, for raising a child up to 2 years of age and for adopting a child up to 5 years of age for the previous month of August.
The date for payment of unemployment benefits this month is September 15 (Monday).
