Bulgaria is an attractive place for investments by German business. This was said by the President of the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade Michael Schumann, quoted by bTV, during his meeting with the Head of State of Bulgaria Rumen Radev in Sofia.

The meeting with representatives of German companies was held at “Dondukov“ 2. The companies are interested in investing in infrastructure, the banking sector and electromobility. Radev noted that our country creates good conditions for investments.

„There is enormous potential for expanding and deepening this fruitful cooperation and we continue to work for it at the highest political level“, Radev said.“

Schuman assured that the president's meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier two weeks ago did not go unnoticed by local business:

„Bulgaria impresses with its economic development in recent years, with its fiscal stability and with modern branches in the private and state industry. All this makes Bulgaria an attractive place for investments“.

Rumen Radev noted that nearly 4,000 German companies operate in our country, with many of them reinvesting their profits here. The head of state noted that talks are also forthcoming with leading representatives of the German aviation industry.

President Rumen Radev also noted Bulgaria's strategic geographical location, qualified workforce, and low operating costs. According to the president, the country also offers us a predictable business environment.
