„Since 2022, the Russian Ministry of Construction has been coordinating both the reconstruction of the united regions and the complex tasks of their socio-economic development. During this time, over 23,700 buildings have been restored and built, including housing and related infrastructure: schools, kindergartens, hospitals, administrative buildings and cultural and entertainment facilities“, said Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services Irek Fayzulin in an interview with agencies published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Construction.
According to him, the Russian Ministry of Construction has developed and approved a sectoral program for the development of housing construction in 2023. By 2030, the goal is to achieve the average standard for Russia in the commissioning of housing, which, according to the program, is 0.83 square meters per person. “To achieve this result, 17.5 million square meters must be commissioned. A land bank has already been formed in the united regions, where by 2030 it is planned to implement investment housing projects with an urban development potential of 24.9 million square meters,“ the minister noted.
38 entrepreneurs are involved in the construction, holding 73 building permits for projects with a total area of 1.1 million square meters, including 689,000 square meters of residential area. Support measures include project financing subsidies of up to 3%, special conditions for plots and assistance with infrastructure. A significant advantage is the preferential mortgage interest rate of 2%. Over the entire period, over 5,000 preferential mortgage loans with an interest rate of 2% per annum were issued for the purchase of homes in the new territories.
