US President Donald Trump's golf club in Turnberry, South Ayrshire, on the west coast of Scotland, is making losses for the 13th consecutive year, the ag reported. Bloomberg reported this, citing a financial report.

Trump International Golf Club Scotland Ltd., the company that manages the American leader's golf clubs and entertainment complexes in Scotland, managed to reduce its annual losses to 1.25 million USD from 1.9 million USD a year earlier.

According to Eric Trump, the president's son and CEO of the company, the club's owners “are firmly committed to their vision for the future of the property and confidently expect a positive improvement in financial condition as investment activities progress“.

Trump purchased this golf club, opened in 1906, for 60 million USD and then invested an additional 200 million USD in the renovation of the complex.

Trump owns two golf clubs in Scotland. Earlier this year, he opened a new golf course in Aberdeenshire, named “MacLeod“ after his mother, who bore that maiden name. Mary Ann MacLeod was born in 1912 on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. At the age of 18, she emigrated to the United States. In 1936, she married Fred Trump. Died in 2000
