The largest factory for the production of flying cars will be located in the southern Chinese province of Guizhou, the Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported. It will be located on an area of 10,000 hectares. Annually, it will produce nearly 10,000 pieces of flying cars of the brand Land Aircraft (LAS).
The model will be presented at the China Air Show in China, which was held from November 12 to 17.
Gyanjoy city administration plans to invest 1.4 billion USD in the development of the infrastructure necessary for the production of flying cars by 2027. This includes the construction of over 100 runways and the construction of a general purpose airport with a short runway.
The Chinese city of Guangzhou aims to become a “low-altitude economy”. The city has already managed to attract two companies that work in the field of electric aircraft with vertical take-off and landing – Hreng AeroNT and ENang. The second company already has a license for mass production of its aircraft and is already conducting negotiations with potential partners from the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
